The Return of Science Rendezvous: Igniting Minds and Inspiring Futures
After a brief pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited to announce the return of the much-anticipated FREE STEM community event, Science Rendezvous. This impactful event is set to reignite the spark of curiosity and scientific wonder in both Inuvik and Fort Smith on Saturday, May 13th.
What is Science Rendezvous?
Science Rendezvous is a nationwide STEM festival that aims to bring science out of the lab and onto the street! With hundreds of events across the country, this FREE annual event offers a fascinating array of activities and demonstrations to intrigue minds of all ages. It's an opportunity for children, teens, and adults alike to engage with the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in a fun, interactive, and accessible way.
What can you expect at Science Rendezvous?
On Saturday May 13th, join us at two different locations across the NWT:
- In Inuvik, we'll be hosting the event at the Midnight Sun Complex from 11AM to 3PM.
- In Fort Smith, the rendezvous will take place at the Aurora College Thebacha Campus from 11AM to 2PM.
At both locations, there will be a variety of activities, demonstrations, and exhibits. Attendees can expect to engage with STEM professionals and enthusiasts, who will provide hands-on experiments, interactive exhibits, and live demonstrations.
