The Aurora Research Institute currently administers several funding opportunities throughout the year.
The Aurora College Grants and Awards Program supports Aurora College employees and students. This program also supports early career researchers conducting research in the Northwest Territories (in-kind support).
The Aurora College General Research Fund offers specific funding for Aurora College employees’ research projects that align with the themes of natural sciences and engineering, or social sciences and humanities.
From 2024 to 2029, the Aurora College Mobilize Program offers support for Aurora College employees and students. It also supports community members engaged in proposal reviews.
