Dr. Pertice Moffitt was honoured today by the Status of Women Council of the NWT, as a recipient of a 2015 Wise Woman Award for the North Slave region. Dr. Moffitt received her award with four other honourees from the NWT Premier at this year's annual Bread and Roses Luncheon. This award recognizes women for their time, commitment and work in improving the lives of women and families in their communities. The awardees are all role models in their communities and are dedicated to improving the status of women. Congratulations to all 2015 recipients.
