Research on homelessness in Inuvik

October 18, 2013

Dr. Michael Young is a researcher with the school of Humanitarian Studies at Royal Roads University, Victoria, British Columbia. With the support of many local and national organizations, including the Aurora Research Institute, his research documents some of the issues associated with homelessness, addictions, and mental health issues in Inuvik. His work also explores the causes and consequences of the problem, from the perspectives of homeless persons themselves, health and social service providers, and government.
