April 29, 2024

Calling all science enthusiasts and curious minds in Inuvik! Don’t miss the exciting return of Canada’s largest celebration of science, the Science Rendezvous, on Saturday, May 11th, 2024. Hosted at the East Three Secondary School from 11 am to 3 pm, this free community event promises an adventure for people of all ages.

Dive into the world of innovation with hands-on activities and interactive games brought to you by local organizations. Whether you’re intrigued by the mechanics of drones or the wonders of virtual reality, there’s something here to spark everyone's interest. For the explorers at heart, there’s a geography sandbox to uncover, and for the aspiring astronauts, rockets await your launch command.

But that’s not all! Show your support for the E3SS Travel Club while satisfying your appetite with delicious pizza slices and hot dogs at their fundraiser. And let’s not forget the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes, thanks to the generous contributions of the Canadian Permafrost Association and BGC Squared.

So, mark your calendars and spread the word. We can’t wait to see you there for a day filled with discovery and excitement. Be sure to say hello to our special guest, ARVIQ, the bowhead whale!

Join us for Science Rendezvous 2024 – where fun and learning collide! #SciRen #InuvikScienceFiesta
