May 13, 2019

Dr. Pertice Moffitt, Manager/Instructor, Health Research Programs at North Slave Research Centre (Yellowknife) had a rewarding week with two new publications in press. The first, a collaborative article published in the International Journal of Circumpolar Health qualitatively measures how culturally safe Sami patients feel in their encounters with healthcare. The second, Grandmothers’ breastfeeding stories to mothers: a knowledge translation gift appears on the Atlas of Science website and provides an overview of her and Sheila Cruz's research on integrating Traditional Knowledge in breastfeeding.
