Did the Sumerians see the Northern Lights in 2100 BC?

February 6, 2018

ARI is hosting a research presentation this Thursday, February 8, 2018, at 6 pm. Dr Wayne Horowitz of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem has been visiting the region since 2012 as part of his research which links ancient Babylonia with our northern sky and local oral traditions.

We’ll have snacks and door prizes, so join us for an interesting look at how northern lights may have been perceived by people living long ago and far away.

For more information please see the poster here.
