2015 Research Grant Application – Deadline Reminder

The deadline to apply for ARI’s Research Assistant and Research Fellowship Programs is approaching, so be sure to get your applications in before February 28, 2015. (Deadline closes at midnight MST). 

Each year, the Aurora Research Institute provides grants in support of research in the NWT. The purpose is to support local involvement and capacity development for northern-based research projects.

The Research Assistant Program provides up to $2,500 towards wages for hiring northern residents as research assistants.
 

The Research Fellowship Program provides up to $6,000 to help offset the expenses associated with research projects based in the NWT.
 

Applicants must demonstrate that their project involves meaningful participation of NWT residents, and that it develops northern-based research capacity.
