  • Bird surveying (visual & auditory) – breeding birds, owls, nightjars, peregrine falcons, whooping cranes
  • Bat echolation call identification – manual & use of Kaleidoscope software
  • Bioacoustic monitoring (birds & bats) – programming and set up of ARUs
  • Wildlife tracking on snow
  •  Aerial surveying for wildlife
  • Conducting Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Use of GPS, compass, basic ArcGIS, radio telemetry equipment

  • Sustainability plan for Aurora College – Exploring sustainability plans for post-secondary institutions
