Personal info:

I am currently a third-year BSN student at the Aurora College Yellowknife campus. I was born and raised in the NWT and am a strong advocate for Northern and Indigenous health. I believe that locally conceived, driven, and cultivated health research is critical in the quest to glean a broader understanding and respect for the deep-rooted and multifarious factors that contribute to the health and wellbeing of our unique Northern population. Currently, I am working with the esteemed Dr. Pertice Moffitt on the research project, Welcoming the ‘Sacred Spirit.’

Skills and Expertise:

  • Essay Writing
  • Research Assistance
  • Administrative Tasks

List of current projects:

  • Welcoming the ‘Sacred Spirit’ (child): Connecting Indigenous and Western ‘ways of knowing’ to optimize maternal child health service delivery in remote Canadian regions
