North Slave Research Center (Yellowknife)

Education: 3rd Year Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Personal Info:

I completed my third-year for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and I will be entering the fourth year in September 2020.  I am involved in a variety of community events with Yellowknives Dene First Nation. My favourite is taking my family to our cabin when we can; I love to BBQ over an open flame. I love to volunteer as a tutor for adult basic education and anatomy for Health Sciences. I have a keen interest in the North’s vulnerable population. One day, I hope to be a community health nurse for Canada’s northern regions and be a nursing instructor to shape future northern nurses.
