Science in Our Communities

Roberta Bondar speaks at Thebacha campus The Aurora Research Institute values the opportunity to promote science and research in the communities where we live and work. We do this by designing youth programming with partners in our communities, getting local organizations and individuals involved in research through community outreach, and inviting world class researchers to speak at public lectures as part of our Scientific Speaker Series.

We also work with researchers to ensure that their research engages local people and organizations as much as possible - in consultation, communication, study results, and even fieldwork. Check out our section just for researchers.
